Lost the CAElinux desktop backround was created by Tony Aimer
I am new to Ubuntu / Linux and caelinux. Did something real stupid.
I changed the desktop background to one of the Ubuntu ones and was unable to change it back to the CAElinux picture-
the one with the mountain with snow.
I have looked for .png files elswhere on the system but cannot find that background picture.
Could some kind soul explain how to locate the directory where I can find the picture please.
I tried doing a search for *.png on the "add new picture" but could not get it to search anything.
My Ubuntu books tell me everything I will need to know in the future but not how to fix this silly issue.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for that information
Fixed the problem now.
I dont yet fully understand why searchng for *.png did not find that location
but I am a newbie to Linux.
I have decided to get my IT guy to build me a new machine with Ubuntu on
it as a standard distribution so I can follow the various books I have on Ubuntu
without the CAE distro spoiling my view.
When I get up to speed I'll probably laugh at this comment as well!
I am determined to dump proprietary software - I just refused to be bullied into
keeping my Autodesk/Inventor subscription up to date. Adesk now say that if you
dont have a current subscription you cant upgrade without rebuying the package.
I drew a line in the sand.
