VMware or VirtualBox to host CAELiniux 2013? was created by Owen
Hi all,
VirtualBox or VMware, that is the question.
[Whether 'tis nobler in the 'chine to buffer
The bytes and pointers of outrageous Programs,
Or to take Iron against an Ocean of Heap,
And by installing end them? ]
But seriously, I am setting up CAE Linux 2013 in our shop for schematic capture and related design work.
I don't expect to be using high memory 3D/FEM tools. Maybe some circuit simulation.
With that in mind, I am faced with the choice:
Use VirtualBox to run CAELinux 2013.
Use VMware to run CAELinux 2013.
Any reason to prefer one over the other for this usage?
Host OSs will be both Win7x64 and OS X.
Thanks,
Owen
