USB Drive installation - starts a terminal ? was created by Stephen Kramer
Hello,

I just installed Caelinux onto USB drive using UNetbootin. When it loads, I get what appears to be a unix terminal screen that is full screen with the prompt: "(initramfs)"

From there I can see directories and files and it responds to the "reboot" command by rebooting.

How do I start the desktop/GUI "windows" ? Or is there something wrong with the installation?

thanks!
steve

Hello.

Some other pieces of information,

At the top the screen displays:

BusyBox v1.18.5 Ubuntu 1:1.18.5-1ubuntu4.1
built-in shell (ash)

The last line of the scrolling text is:
ata4: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)

thanks,
steve
