Simulation of a noozle was created by ChrisK
Hello Community,

i have a few questions about a simulation approach.

I want to simulate a simple noozle(geometrical looks like this www.jetaerospace.org/Gallery/fluent_nozzle.htm ) and calculate the volumetric flow rate.

Therefore i have given this parameters :

-Pressure at In- and Outlet
-compressible
-geometrical dimensions of the negative of the noozle(path of the stream)
-Temperature(isothermal)

My Problem is, i only made a few tutorials and the approach there is that u have given the velocity at
in- and outlet(what i dont know in this example). First, Is this example with the given parameters possible to compute?
What solver would u suggest(rhoSimplecFoam,sonicFoam...)? What Wizard would u suggest with the given parameters to convert the cad+ mesh (unv,med,...) into an OpenFoamcase e.g. ?

I can't answer you specifically, since I've have nearly zero experience with OpenFOAM, but have a look at sourceforge.net/p/helyx-os/wiki/Home/ and see if that doesn't take you some steps in the right direction :)
