Problem in installing Linux CAE on 32-bit was created by Michael Dettling
Hello,
i tried to install CAE-Linux 2008 on my Thinkpad T42p (32-bit).
Following procedure i did:
1. Insert Live-DVD with CAE-Linux 2008
2. Boot from LiveCD
3. Then there is a screen with PCLinuxOS and on the bottom a status line with the progress. This stops in the 1/10th of the progress and nothing happend any more.
What could be the problem?
I know the Thinkpad T42p is an old one, but can i install Linux-CAE on this machine. Has anybody experience with installing Linux-CAE on a Thinkpad T42?
Has anybody Linux 2007? It is no more available on the CAE-Linux page.
It would be very nice if somebody can help me.
Thanks a lot!
