Problem whe installing CAELINUX from USB was created by Alberto Mario Striedinger Pinilla
Hello guys,
I am installing CAE LINUX 2011 but failed to get it right. Thsi is what I did:
1-) I downloaed the ISO image
2-) I chekc the md5, and the codes were the same so its is ok
3-) Downloaded the USB progeam to make it bootable (the recomended in CAE LINUX WEBpage)
4-) I burned the iso image with the software into the USB drive.
5-) I restarted my computer and select to boot from USB
Then I noticed two things.
OUT-1) The frist thing is that when selecting boor from USB , I just have on my scree on the USB option a balnk space. Meaning that the name under USB boot option said only USB and not names relate dto UBUNTU or CAELINUX or anything or LIVE DVD.... I just expected something like that.
OUT-2) Anyways, I waited and indeed the screen asks me to select a mode, I just press enter which sele cted the default mode. Just as recomended in the cae web. After that my screen starts to load something, and the UBUNTU logo appears as loading ubuntu. But at the end it fails to load the whole thing and I get a warning :
" BusyBox v.113.3 ... Built in shell(ash).. enter help"
" (initrang) Unable to find medium containing live file system"
OK that is just not good... who else do I boot from USB... I really need this solved by the end of the weekend. Please I appreciate your collaboration

Thank you very much. But it is actualy That I wanted to do from windows cuz I just have the USB, and I am no were near to get DVD to burn it.... In these days I did however managed to run it from USB I think it was the USB port giving me problems.... hecks me!. But I found something rather anoying:
1) I couldnt log to the internet network , a land line... and I dont know the configuration, cuz the manual say to configure it... but I dondt have all the info.
An secondly the resolution was set just too bad... I managed to change the dots per window but that didnt do anything to fix it honestly. I had the same problem with UBuntu 12.04 LTS but I could easily change the resollution. I dont know if that may mean that something went wrong on my installation or if it is just a default mode cuz It run from LIVE MODE.
Sincerely,
Alberto
