Workstation with many cores!

Hello all!

I was wondering whether the latest CAELinux can support a workstation with 32 or 64 cores. I remember reading that the non-server ubuntu kernel only supported eight.

I am deciding whether or not to go with CAELinux for my next fresh install. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I tried out CAELINUX 2011. The system monitor recognizes all of my cores (32), but the code aster (MPI) only allows me to use 16 cores. Does anyone know how to change this?

I got it. I just created a new server.
