Not able to create new user in CAELinux was created by Sam Mathew
Hi,
I am having some problems with creating a new user after installing CAELinux as the OS. When I tried using adduser/passwd from the admin account, new users are displayed on the login screen. But when I try to login for the new user, some error messages are displayed; though the mouse is active, there are no launch options. All that the screen shows is the beautiful background of Alps!

have you tried using the GUI System->Administration->Users and group to add users? I used this and it worked for me.
the problem is probably related to a "non existent" or not writable home directory as specified in the user profile...
