New Website !! was created by Joël Cugnoni
Dear Users,
recently we have migrated our old websites caelinux.com & caelinux.org to a new server and upgraded our main site to a more modern version of Joomla with a better forum module (Kunena).
The result is what you see today. We really hope that you will like its new look and feel and that it will work even better than the previous system.
We have tested all what we could test, but if you experience any problem, please report it here or send us an email if you cannot access the forum.
Best Regards
Joel Cugnoni
aka admin
PS: the file / image upload is now much more flexible !
PS2: sorry but due to the time required to migrate, some very recent posts may have been lost...

Hoi Joel,
Nice layout!
And, of course, Claus has to make his obligatory remark and at the same time making a statement
:
I like the 'last edit' not being displayed so pronounced anymore! Because I tend to use that a lot (my mistakes most of the time).
kind regards - have fun - kees

Thank you guys,
I really appreciate your feedback.. and I have to admit that I also agree with Claus..
but actually the migration from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5 was
1) impossible on our old server (php version
2) really too frightening to be undertaken without being really pushed by security reasons...
during migration I thought several times that everything was lost.. but no, in the end, everything is fine.. pff what a suspense
By the way, I want to ask you both if you would accept to be moderators for the forums and wiki.
This does not mean any obligation,. you just come to the website when you want, but if you find something innappropriate you have the right to delete it and ban the user (usually spammers).
Those days, we easily get 1-3 spams per day and the more we are to stop this, the better...
and I really trust you.
Let me know what you think about it.
Cheers,
Joel

Hoi Joel
Thank you for what I take as a compliment.
I am glad to help you to get rid of the spam.
As it only takes to delete spam messages, that fine for me (and at the moment there is at least one spam sequence going on).
kind regards - kees
