Hello:
I downloaded the CAE linux VMWare version on my laptop at home. i burned it on a DVD and trying to install it on my PC at work.
when i try to open the .vmx file in the VMWare player it asks for login (username & password), the screen is similar to the windows login screen. I am not familiar with the Linux OS. can anyone tell me if i am doing something wrong here.

thank you.

Hi,

I am not sure at all, but maybe you need to be run VMPlayer with \"administrator\" rights ?

Check this on VMWare website... normally it should have nothing to do with the CAELinux image.

If you got the same as me then you got the option to login as guest or root. Surprise, surprise the passwords are the same as the username you chose. I.e:

Username: Guest
Password: Guest
