modelling electric field was created by Roger Kemp
hi,
i want to model the electric field between various geometries of electrodes.
can this be done with salome-meca? would i need to install caelinux or can i just install the salome-meca
if this has been asked before could you point me in the direction of the post.
thanks
Roger

I dont think an electrostatic analysis exist in code_aster. My best shot would to be to use a thermal analysis where the temperature field will correspond to the voltage field in electrostatics analysis. You could consider using FEMM (2D or axisymmetric) or Elmer (3D) instead.
