CAElinux menu item was created by Chris M
Hi, I have recently installed CAElinux 2010 on my laptop but I have a small problem with my current configuration. On the live cd there was a menu item called "caelinux" that had alot of useful tools like the OpenFoam shell and the SalomeMeca shell. I did a full install but it is missing on my menus. I have all the programs installed and I can run them if I run a terminal in their root directories. But I did like the options that were available on the live cd. Is there any way to get that back?

Did you try:
- right click on "Applications"
- select "Edit Menus"
- if CAELinux option is present on the right-hand column, check the box next to it, then hit close. If the CAELinux option is not there on the right-hand column, then I'm not sure what to do.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply.
The CAELinux item was not in the menu. I just made my own links instead.
