Hi Joel/Kees,

I am willing to help, but my knowledge of CodeAster and Wiki structuring is limited. But in the course of learning both, I can edit/correct/improve upon the path forged by you and others.

Another possibility is to host translated CodeAster documents if EDF is not already on the way to doing so. What I mean is, hand edited 'Wiki' like documents that may have come from auto translation of the originals. I think only a peer reviewed and community editable document has a good chance of being generally well written and edited in a highly specialized field. Of course we may never complete the thousands of documents that are available from EDF, but certain critical ones may become useful as time goes by, with volunteer efforts. I believe enabling community editing of translated documents will at least foster and nurture the process of CodeAster as an open source software. For several years I have tried to bring this forth, but the very obstacle of not being able to obtain the source (non-PDF) documents has been a hinderance, since automatic translators do not handle PDF documents elegantly.

Let us know if the CAELinux website has the storage/bandwidth to handle the load.
