new to linux - installing CAELinux?

I have already installed the latest Ubuntu to start getting familiar with Linux and I love it so far. I wrote the new CAELinux2009 image to a DVD and it's working from the DVD. I don't like the fact that it has it's on Ubuntu it runs through from the DVD - I'd much rather install CAELinux in my existing and newer Ubuntu (I think it's 10.04?) Being that it's an iso image, I can't find a package to install in Ubuntu - how do I go about this?

By the way - a huge, generous pile of thank you and great work to all those that put their time into this open software and to the CAELinux guys for packaging it all together for the rest of us! Nice job.

Aha - so I mount the ISO image and then hopefully find an installable package in there - install it, then unmount when I'm done?

I would like to install all the DVD to my Ubuntu 10.04 , but I haven't understood how to procede. I'm new to Ubuntu (Linux) and I'm not a programmer, so I'm completely lost. I would appreciate a lot if anyone could tell me a step by step procedure to accomplish my goal, so I would have my system Ubuntu and Caelinux running together.

The new caelinux 2010 is based on Ubuntu 10.04LTS, download the iso, and install it, just like you did when installing Ubuntu 10.04.
