Haha, at least you were able to compile 1.3.3 on Ubuntu. I tried just about everything and I couldn't ever get it to go completely through without some error.

Hello all,

As already said in a different thread, we unfortunately added a last-minute patch in the version 2.0-beta2 without enough testing, and it does not compile without MPI support.

Sorry about that!

We'll relase a patch ASAP and an automatic installer should soon be available. In the meantime, you can install this version with MPI support.

Jacob, what was the problem you had when installing Code_Saturne 1.3.3?

Regards,
David

At first I was having trouble because I hadn't changed the paths in the script for the dependent libraries, but once I installed them and pathed the script correctly, it went on further in the setup but still errored out when it went to compile both Syrthes and Saturne's GUI. I don't remember what the specific error messages were...but they weren't very descriptive...something like "Error 2: something something".
