"Live" USB stick was created by Thomas Atkins
Now that USB sticks are larger and some systems will boot from a USB, could CAELinux run from a "Live" USB rather than a "Live" DVD ??

The new release (Ubuntu based) will install & work perfectly on USB stick with unetbootin!!
I am using it every day to test the new release on different computers...

I get a 'live' usb stick but it's 64 bit version so won't run on my home or work desktop machines
I did try the stick on a Dell laptop where Ubuntu started to load, but then stalled

Ho hum. Better burn a DVD.

DVD loaded up fine, but second attempt at putting it on a USB failed. Same problem as before
