Hi forum

I have downloaded Code saturne 1.3.1 ( stable version ) from EDF, and tried to build it from source, to make full use of my 64 bits architecture.

So I untar the package in /opt/saturne, cd to /opt/saturne and i find these directories there :

cs_profile Enveloppe Install Interface Noyau opt README src

I source cs_profile ,

. ./cs_profile and set INSTALLPATH=/opt/saturne ; Then I cd to Install and type :

root@iskandhar:/opt/saturne/Install# python install_saturne.py

Installation of Code_Saturne elements on architecture Linux

And nothing else happens, the packages are not built...

Obviously i am missing something quite obvious here... but what...?

I Have done exactly as instructed in the README.txt inside /opt/saturne/Install...

Can somebody please help me here...?

Thanks in advance

Are you sure it's not 1.3.3?

In any case, have a look at this and see if you missed something:

Hi there

It is 1.3.1, positive about that, and the issue is that there is no macros_Linux_x86_64.mk in the Noyau/ncs-1.3.1/bin folder...

The name of the package is saturne-1.3.1.tar.bz2... its about 49.3 Mb...

Give 1.3.3 or even 1.4 a try then - see if it works out
