Code_Aster release : STA11.4 on OpenSUSE 12.3 64 bits - EDF/Intel version
Some test-cases for Code_Aster 9.4 uploaded was created by Claus
I've done some quick test cases for 9.4 and uploaded them here:
www.caelinux.org/wiki/index.php/Contrib:Claws
I'm leaving my home country for 6 months so don't expect much updating, but I hope they are useful for some
I strongly encourage others to upload their cases so we can all benefit from them.
Edit: to Admin - you can check to see if I've broken any of the Wiki, I'm not that experienced with wiki editing

Hi Claus,
first of all: thank you for your contributions! I have used your procedure to install the latest Code-Saturne release and it works well! This is exactly the kind of contribution that can help me for the development of the next release.
I have not tried Aster 9.4 yet, but I will give a look at your test cases..
Funny coincidence: I am returning back home in 2 weeks after 6 months in England.. so I really understand for the "updates"! Enjoy your stay!
PS: your wiki pages are alright !

Well glad you liked 'em
I hope to do more if time permits it.
Looking forward to seeing your future work on CAELinux now that you're back - and yeah, it is a funny coincidence, and scary as hell to leave your home country

Dear Claus, I have loaded a tutorial on the wiki, but I'm not able to manage the wiki page to make it nice like your one. Can you help me?
I'm Cacciatorino on the wiki.
Thank you very much.
Don't be afraid to go far from your country for a period. It is hard the first week but it after will be wonderful!<br /><br />Post edited by: Alessandro, at: 2009/01/22 00:18

UPDATE
Pretty accurately a year later, Im shamelessly bumping my own thread with an update:silly:
I've finished a guide for applying torque to an object in Code_Aster among other things, and I'd like some feedback and especially corrections on errors I've made.
I have a few other topics Im going to upload to the wiki later on, so check it out once in a while.
Code_Aster cases
Code_Aster 10.1.X "Applying torque"
