Creating a Sector was created by Gabriel Johnson
How could I create a rectangle shape with a tapered end in geometry mode? One end should be slightly bigger than the other. Or should I just create a cylinder and do an extrusion? I have look in the PDF manual online on creating sectors.

Hello,

I am not sure to understand exactly which shape you want to create, but here is a more general answer:

The simplest option to create 2D sahpes is to use the \"New Entity=>Sketch\" tool in the GEOM module. By combining the different options of sketch, you should be able to create the 2D shape that you may want. Sketch will create a \"Wire\" object (a poly-curve).

Then if you want to create a \"filled\" shape, use the \"New Object=>Build=>Face\" command to create a planar face from the Wire object.

Finally, you can create a volume by extrusion or revolution of the face (you will need to first create a vector for the extrusion direction or the revolution axis).

I hope that this will help you!
