How to modelise phase change material? was created by Adrien
Good morning everybody,
For the purpose of a study I would like to model the behavior of a phase change material. My material is dry ice, but I would assume that it does not really matter, for now.
For a first step, I will not really matter of the change of phase of the material. I mean the solid will becomes a gas or a liquid but I do not care, it could stay a solid in the simulation.
I just want to have the ENERGY point of view since the study is related to heat transfer.
Could you please advice me how to do so? I assume there is a kind of general method independent of the software, like changing the specific heat of the material vs temperature?
