Hi,
I want to get a little bit deeper into CFD with Open Foam.So I organized a caelinux2009 live dvd. Cause I´m a absolut CFD beginner I clicked me through the published openFoam Tutorial here on this page. The Preprocessing Part should be done in Salome and exported as a Ideas format . To this point is everything clear for me.But then they use FoamX and openfoam in general from the cae terminal. Thats the point where I stuck at the moment. I´m not able to start it. Everytime I try it like the tut does, I get a "unknown command". Could somebody help me please? How can I start this OpenFoam Pre gui thing and how should I start a job?

Thanks a lot

PS
By the way, I want to calculate a incomp. laminar flow with simplefoam, (quite simple model)

FoamX is no more which is too bad because it was very easy to use.
