Hi David

Thkz for your reply, I will recompile it in its target folder later today.

Can you point some interesting tutorials for Code Saturne?

Or is there some form of a coaching contract on Code Saturne from EDF that i may take...?

I ask this because I will take some coaching from DeltaCad on Code Aster basics as well as advanced next October, and in OpenFOAM, not from DeltaCad this last one...

. In the meanwhile i am "getting my hands" on all the references that i can get on thermal regenerator theory for transient operation, and on Stirling Engine numerical simulation...

3D Numerical analysis of packed-bed/wire-mesh matrix regenerators is something quite intrincate... I think that this could be done in OpenFOAM, provided one knows enough C++ and Fluid Flow / Heat Transfer physics... :-)... but my name is not Jasak... :-D

PPL at Fluent-Inc model this, but they won´t release the algorythmics... ;-(

Hi David

Works OK now...

Thanks for yr help... :-D

Is there any report on Benchmarking Code Saturne in comparison to OpenFOAM and Fluent...?

Would be interesting to compare on grounds of Precision, speed of convergence, memory footprint... is there something published out there in the web...?

Thkz

Alex
