Elmer performance

Hi,

I've just compiled in my Slackware based CAE station the Elmer FEM.

I've followed step by step the tutorial on the piston thermal analysis but the solver took too much CPU, time and RAM.

About 10minutes to complete the simulations and 2Gb of RAM allocated.

I've used GCC and Gfortrant 4.1.2.

Any help?

The system is based on a Athlon XP 64 X2 3800+

Other FEA codes runs very well (Code Aster, Code Saturne, OpenFoam)
