unit of stp files was created by wwiki
Hello ,

I import some stp files in salome 5.1.3 .
Dimensions are in meter and I usually work in millimeter.

What's your habit ?
You convert geometry in mm or do all study in meter.

By default, SALOME converts to mm. Check the dimensions in your CAD program.

I do most of my experiments in [mm] but it really only matters when you start assigning properties and load in the ASTER module, before that, Salome has no units as such.

With older salome , Size of step are in mm.
It doesn't do anything. Attention should just be paid.
