can i modify gui of salome module

Hello admin,


can I change the GUi of salomes'Geomotry module and modify/remove the code for that perticula menu item
for example
: i want to Remove New Entity menubar since i am using some other s/w for making geometry.


./GEOM_3.2.2/share/salome/resources/geom/GEOM_en.xml
and
./GEOM_3.2.2/share/salome/resources/geom/GEOM_fr.xml

it does mot afect.Make command also donot work. I also want to know if i make any manipulation in . cxx or.hxx file themn how to compil.
