Salome MECA 2010 - 32bits

Hi.

I just downloaded and installed the 32bits (i386) version of Salome_MECA 2010 and created the simples of all beam sample analysis. Geometry, mesh and EFICAS writing of command file went well. But the ASTER analysis didn't run.

The status in the Salomé changes to "RUNNING" just after start but no transcript window appears and once done the status is "_"

The only file created after running the case is "new_case.export". All expected output from ASTER is missing. The shell output is:

The exact same .med and .comm files produces correct results with Salome_MECA 2009.

I have succesfully executed the analysis using ASTK and by the commandline your proposed.

When - after doing so - I again run the case from within Salomé the output files are read as expected.

What puzzles me is that the GUI generated command line:
/opt/SALOME-MECA-2010.1-i386-GPL/aster/bin/as_run --serv /home/tpa/FEM/New/new_case.export
has the --serv option but no data given to it. So if the --serv option could be omitted, things would be fine, I guess, as I only run locally.

Only detail that made me lift an eyebrow is that when starting ASTK it complains about the host (localhost) not having a domain to it. Still Salome MECA_2009 works and I get not errors when refreshing the servers in either ASTK or in Salomé. Both places the local host is checked so the communication should be fine.

But for some reason the call of as_run seems incorrect/incomplete.
