Liaison of faces with DKT was created by Tom G.
Hello!
I tried to "glue" some faces with LIAISON_MAIL. The error output is: "pas de mailles a projeter". The rows where the colored faces are, should be connected with each other.
Thank you and greetings,

I have trouble understanding how you are using LIAISON - the meshes must intersect, you understand that right?

I have a working example with solids in which the meshes doesn't intersect, so i left some space between the sheets, that I can select them well. There is no space between the sheets in real. The arrows in the pic show where the elements should be connected.

I made a comment regarding liaisons in ASTER
>somewhere else<
. According to Code_Aster documentation the meshes do not have to be compatible. I still have not tried the liaisons myself.

Hi.
I have now tried a few configurations with liaison_mail and DKT modelisations. None of them worked. I see nothing in the documentation indicating that DKT is not compatible with liaison_mail - but it does appear so. This is the error message I get from the .mess file:
[code:1] !
!
! <EXCEPTION> <CALCULEL4_55> !
! !
! !
! pas de mailles a projeter. !
! !
! !
! !
! !
!
![/code:1]
Maybe it only works with 2nd order elements?

Hoi Torben
I am not sure about this error, but it might be caused by a quadratic mesh. DKT needs linear mesh if I recall correctly. But only judging by this small part of the mess file, is a bit hard.
