Not able to install CAE2011 on Virtual PC

Hello,

I'm new to CAE2011 and I've been trying to install CAE2011 on my Win7 ultimate Virtual PC. After all the processes of entering the details, the virtual PC with CAE does not start. Please help me with this.

Use Linux 64 bit instead of Windows 7

The caelinux iso is a linux live-cd containing 'linux' programs

However it is possible to install a virtualbox (www.virtualbox.org/) on a windows machine to emulate a linux pc.
Launch the virtual machine, mount the .iso file and install everything.

Hi! I tried to install CAELinux 2011 via virtual box to 64 bit windows machine. I get this error message in the beginnin of install:

"this kernel requires an x86-64 cpu, but only detected an i686 cpu. Unable to boot- please use a kernel appropriate for your cpu"

Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

Is your host 32bit or 64bit?

CAELinux 2011 will run only on 64bit host.
