hi,

how i can install salome 5.1.5 on opt folder?
i can't modify these folders, how can to say at the pc machine that i' m its administrator? :-)

You can change the permissions of the /opt folder with 'chown username:users -R /opt' - that way you don't need to use administrative rights every time you want to change some in /opt.

Otherwise you can start the installation with 'sudo' in front of the command.

For the folder? Change the username and group to root:root
